The foundation has been established in December, 2005, on the basis of community inventory payments. It is the non-membership nonprofit organization.
The foundation stock is replenished by both private persons and various organizations financial investments.
Foundation objectives:
• Town accomplishment and planting of greenery
• Creation of recreation zones
• Culture and sport development
• Moneyed assistance to families of soldiers perished in liberty struggle
• Students’ sponsorship
• Needy families’ medical care reimbursement
The foundation is accomplishing the following economic activity directed to its objectives realization:
• Buildings and works construction and repair
• Catering organization
• Concerts and sport events organization
• Accomplishment and planting of greenery works
• Trade intermediary activity
• tourism
The foundation potential nominees are Dilijan community residents (socially needy families’ members, students, invalids, retirees, members of lost soldiers’ families) and legal entities realizing activity in culture and public health fields.
In 2006 the foundation involved funds form 12 million and 160 thousand Armenian Drums. The round sum has been marked out to meet the lost soldiers’ families’ members and the Great Patriotic War veterans’ needs.
The corresponding financial assets have been marked out to provide food for alumni of six kindergartens under community subordination. Gas-furnaces have been also purchased for units mentioned. The round sum has been allotted to gasification, chimneys, separate buildings elevators and roofs repair of the educational and cultural units being under the community subordination.
The foundation finances the publication of the newspaper “Dilijan” and gives wherewithal to our town sportsmen participation in various sports tournaments. In 2006 it has financed “Dilijan” football team participation in Armenia championship.
Financial inducement was rendered to students and needy families medical care reimbursement.
